Can anyone make any sense of what the two exhibition organisers CMP and DMG are trying to do to us suppliers by staging two shows in the very same month, in the very same City, next year? My budget will only stretch so far and I have to make decisions as to how to spend it. read more...

It’s bad enough having two exhibitions in London jammed up against each other like this, but I’ve just read a suggestion about putting more celebrity razzmatazz into one or both of them to pull in the general public. That’s all we need. read more...

Thanks Grahame Morrison for an interesting and in many ways very enlightening comment on the “two exhibitions” argument. I always read Mr Morrison’s white goods features in Get Connected because he generally makes a lot of sense. But this time he may have got me slightly wrong. My point was not that razzmatazz is such is a bad thing. read more...
